For three years starting in 2019, the author tracked over 100 daily metrics including fitness, mood, sleep, location, computer usage and weather, collecting 380,000 data points total. The project aimed to understand how factors like cities, seasons, and lifestyle choices affect happiness, productivity and health, with findings showing correlations between mood and activities, weight and heart rate, and travel patterns. All data is stored in a self-hosted database and visualized on a public dashboard with 48 graphs showing insights from this comprehensive life tracking experiment.
